Scotland's relatively high spend per head is similar to that of London and Northern Ireland
Although this information is not included directly in GERS, the Country and Regional Analysis (CRA) data which drives the spending figures in GERS does provide a regional breakdown. From this we can see that the devolved administrations (and London) are consistently the regions of the UK which benefit from highest levels of public spending per head; the English regions receive significantly less.
